Every film begins with a vision. Some visions stay with us because they reveal something essential about the human experience.
At the inaugural edition of the ARTIKAS International Human Rights Short Film Festival, we recognised filmmakers whose works brought distinct artistic perspectives to stories of human dignity, freedom, identity, and the complexities of our shared world.
We are proud to present the films and filmmakers honoured by our international jury. Their work reflects the power of cinema not only to observe the world, but to question it, to challenge silence, and to open new ways of seeing.
Our congratulations to all the award recipients, and our gratitude to every filmmaker and jury member who became part of this first edition.
This is where our journey begins — with independent cinema, artistic integrity, and a lasting commitment to stories that matter.
